Refund Policy

1. Overview
Play&Learn Software Systems ("Play&Learn") wants every family to feel confident about their subscription. If our platform isn't the right fit for your child, we offer straightforward refund options as described below.
2. Free Trial
All new accounts begin with a complimentary trial period. During the trial you have full access to every feature at no cost. No credit card is required to start a trial. If you choose not to subscribe when the trial ends, your account simply becomes inactive — you will never be charged without explicitly choosing a paid plan.
3. Monthly Subscriptions
Monthly plans are billed at the start of each billing cycle. You may cancel at any time from the Billing page in your parent dashboard. When you cancel:
- Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
- You will not be charged for the next cycle
- No partial-month refund is issued for the remaining days in the current period
If you believe a monthly charge was made in error (for example, after you had already cancelled), please contact us within 30 days of the charge and we will investigate and issue a full refund if warranted.
4. Annual Subscriptions
Annual plans are billed once per year at a discounted rate. If you cancel an annual subscription within 14 days of the initial purchase or renewal, we will issue a full refund. After 14 days, the subscription remains active until the end of the annual term and no refund is provided.
5. Account Deletion
If you delete your account while a paid subscription is active, we will cancel the subscription and issue a prorated refund for any unused time. Refunds are processed through Stripe (our payment processor) and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days.
6. How Refunds Are Processed
All refunds are returned to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. Refunds are processed by Stripe and may take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your financial institution.
7. Exceptions
We reserve the right to refuse a refund if we detect abuse of the refund policy (for example, repeated subscribe-and-refund cycles). In such cases we will notify you before taking any action.
